The company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) record is highlighted by the following
Achievements:

  • Community Development Projects consisting of pavement of farm-to-market roads and pathways, water well and water distribution projects, educational equipment and sponsorships, capacity building trainings, livelihood programs, sports equipment and sponsorship, healthcare equipment and personal protective equipment (PPEs) to combat COVID-19, as well as cultural preservation and enhancement projects have been implemented and provided to host barangays and municipal local government unit which to date amount to over P20 million.
  • Crescent planted over 30,000 trees in host barangays’ communal forests, roadside spaces, and privately owned lots in compliance to the National Greening Program of government.
  • Crescent was among the first responders during a landslide that occurred during the onslaught of Typhoon Pepeng in 2009 that buried dozens of persons and houses in Sitios Abatan and Ambabag. Crescent partnered with the Mankayan LGU and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in rebuilding homes for 22 families.
  • Partnered with the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) in completing a geohazard map of the municipality of Kabayan which was the town assigned to the company.
  • Supported the Municipality of Mankayan’s battle against COVID 19 by donating Testing Kits, Personal Protective Equipment, disinfectants and medical equipment to Barangays Bulalacao and Guinaoang as well as the Municipal Health Unit.
  • Provided training to aspiring drillers by way of the company contractors that allowed trainees to seek employment locally and abroad.
  • Provided local employment.
